TREKKING

The group trekking with guide is 3 hour long trekking through the jungle. trekking starts from 7 am. A maximum of 5 tourists are allowed for trekking at a time.

The sponsored trekking (TTEDC) are also available on request and starts at 7 am and 3 pm. Each trekking group is accompanied by a trained guide.

Other Main trekking areas in Thekkady are Kurisumala near Kumily, Pullumedu, Ottakathalamedu, 5 km from Kumily, Grampi near Vandiperiyar.

Night Trekking
Only physically and mentally strong persons to develop / sharpen their power of observation to sense the unseen animals and birds during dark nights.
