The programme
Jungle camp is envisaged as a programme where the visitor gets an opportunity to camp outdoors in tents in the sylvan surrounding of the forest. The whole programme is planned with the active participation of local communities and members of ecodevelopment committees. The site is located at the river viewpoint or the banks of Periyar river at Vallakkadavu in Periyar Tiger Reserve. The site is nestled in the picturesque surrounding.
